Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veterans families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. Since it's inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $407 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.
Bob Bisaccia serves as President of Robert R. Bisaccia, Inc., a consulting firm dealing with NYC Building Code/Zoning Law, real estate development, and construction management. Bob’s network led him to becoming part of the partnership for the Broadway show, “Annie” as well as other productions. Bob’s own desire for performing was heightened following 9/11 when he started producing musical tribute events for the NYPD and FDNY. After several years of performances with the “Bobby B Quartet”, Bob met legendary promoter, Sid Bernstein. Sid encouraged Bob to follow his dream and introduced him to a network of associates in the music industry. Over the past 14 years, Bob has pursued his passion for singing, and continues to reach audiences by promoting musical shows for Fisher House in support of our troops There are presently 71 Fisher Houses in the US, Germany and United Kingdom which provide a “home away from home” for families of our wounded heroes. At the James J.Peterson VA Medical Center in the Bronx, two Fisher Houses are presently being built.
