Shaun Murphy is an American blues and R&B singer-songwriter known for her powerhouse singing style. As a band lead singer and session singer, she has worked with Little Feat, Bob Seger, Meatloaf, Eric Clapton the Moody Blues, Herbie Hancock, Phil Collins, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Maria Muldaur, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Bolton, Coco Montoya, and Alice Cooper. Shaun stepped onto the Blues stage in 1969 at the first Ann Arbor Blues Fest, beginning her storied career in the Detroit music scene. Appearing as a cast member of Hair along with Meatloaf, lead to Stoney and Meatloaf, their duo album on Motown Records.

Lauren Anderson isn’t shy about sharing her influences. Indeed, there have been any number of classic and contemporary artists that have left an indelible impression on the musical mantra she’s pursued over the course of her career — Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Eva Cassidy, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, and the Pointer Sisters, among them. Yet, at the same time, Anderson isn’t bound to any particular parameters. Instead she’s managed to incorporate those influences into a pursuit of her own passion. It’s a musical journey that has yielded three EPs — Do & Hope, The Game and Won’t Stay Down — and her first full-length album, 2015’s Truly Me. Named the 2015 Female Vocalist of the Year by the Midwest Music Awards, she also took a first-place finish in the 2018 Wing Dang Doodle Competition and watched with pride as The Game became entrenched in the Top 50 of the Billboard Blues chart five weeks in a row.

Though originally from New Jersey, Kathy Baillie and Michael Bonagura met in Delaware through a friend who gave Bonagura a tape that featured Baillie's vocals. They were married in 1977. Bonagura's buddy, bass player Alan LeBoeuf, joined up, and after a number of years on the Garden State's nightclub circuit, yet another friend -- a driver with Allied Van Lines -- persuaded them to join him on a trip to Nashville. Ultimately, they signed with RCA Records, making their debut in 1987. After completing their second album, LeBoeuf decided their touring schedule was too hectic and left. Shantelle & The Juke Joint Band have been providing  musical entertainment across the country since 1999. Shantelle Hudson-Black hails from Dyersburg, TN, where she began singing at an early age.  The band consists of rhythm section, keys, and a (3) piece brass section. Shantelle moved to Nashville, TN, to attend Tennessee State University, where she was a cheerleader for two years. It was at TSU that Shantelle fell in love with blues.  Shantelle is an active member of several musical organizations, Musicians Aid Society, Nashville Blues and Roots Alliance, and The Blues Foundation, that aid in the continuing growth and support of blues music. Joe Blanton is a Nashville singer-songwriter, guitarist, and harmonica player whose career has spanned more than 40 years.
