They were born from bar room afternoons spent romanticizing jukebox gems with a particular flavor of rock’n’roll. The band officially formed in the summer of 2018 and has since released a self-titled EP and singles that have received critical praise. Their sound is a blend of classic rock styling with a sprinkle of boozy sophistication, influenced by swagger kings like The Faces, Mott the Hoople, James Gang, T-Rex, and the Stooges. The band's music often dives deeper into American roots music, early punk, or New Orleans street party vibes. Dan Getkin and the Twelve Six is a Pittsburgh-based alt-country band.  Named for a type of curveball that can buckle a man at the knees, the band careens from full-tilt rock anthems to delicate, narrative-driven balladry and back around.  Leading an airtight rhythm section, Getkin’s introspection, narrative, and sacred influence belie influences ranging from Jackson Browne and Kathleen Edwards to Motown-era R’n’B and classic country.   Chet Vincent and the Music Industry is a rock n’ roll band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
