Metro Detroit’s most fun and impactful community fundraisers. 80s Party 4A Purpose is an annual themed fundraiser that celebrates the energy and music of the 1980s while raising money for local charities and community causes. It’s a blend of nostalgia, entertainment, and giving back, all centered around live bands, costume contests, and community spirit. The event is held at the Historic Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens, Michigan. The 14th Annual 80s Party 4A Purpose will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Charitable Mission: Funds raised support several Michigan-based nonprofits and community programs, including:  Great Lakes Burn Camp for Kids  Blue Star Mothers Chapter 180  Turning Point Macomb (domestic violence shelter) We don’t stop there. When we see a cause that needs a little extra help, we step up with smaller donations to lend our support. The event’s slogan often ties back to its core belief: “Have Fun. Give Back.
