Join Thunderbird Lounge and Scale & Feather Meadery for a workshop to learn how to brew your very own homemade mead. Mead is is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey, water, and spices, often associated with Vikings and Norse mythology. Local entrepreneur, mead brewer, and Norwegian-American, Jeremiah Gratza, will lead this hands-on workshop showing you how to make some for yourself. All supplies and ingredients are included in your ticket purchase, and you will leave with a batch of your own mead to take home and ferment. *Must be 21 or over to participate* Allergy Note: mead does not contain any grains, so this beverage is naturally gluten-free.
