The English Beat were a seminal 2 Tone ska revival band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1978. Fusing ska, pop, soul, and punk, they were known for hits like "Mirror in the Bathroom" and "Save It For Later". The band, featuring Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger, promoted messages of love and unity during a time of social upheaval.

Common Sense is not just another reggae band from Orange County. With a SoCal background and a small beach town attitude Common Sense took their reggae-rock influences and created their own style.
