21 Quest is a Hip-Hop artist from Queens, New York. Growing up in Smith Project in the Lower East Side, 21 Quest is a first generation Dominican/American. He was introduced to music at a early age, and as his passion for the arts grew, he decided to pursue a career in music. However, 21 Quest first started by reciting poetry. He participated in the Knicks' Poetry Slam, a program powered by the New York Knicks and Urban Word NYC, that awards full tuition scholarships to college bound high school seniors in the Tri-State area. Demonstrating a new perspective, and engaging his audience with stellar performances, 21 made it to the finals in 2008 and battled New York's top poets.
Growing more and more confident over the years, and garnering what he learned from his poetry days, 21 Quest decided to fully invest his talent into making music. Releasing a string of solid singles, 21 Quest was able to lock in performances on some of his City's biggest stages; Apollo Theater, Highline Ballroom, SoBs; and opening for some of the game's biggest names; Cam'ron, Don Q, Action Bronson, Erick Sermon, Mr. Cheeks, just to name a few.
With dope performances now under his belt, it was time for 21 Quest to deliver his debut project, which arrived last year in the form of "Fix Ya Face Vol. 1." The 10-track project is available on all streaming services and drew some serious traction, as major publications like "The Source" "Miss Info" "Karen Civil" "ITSBIZKIT" all featured the LP.
Wanting to expand on his momentum, the Queens-native is set to release a new EP later this month titled "Don't Look Down," which will be followed up by a headlining show on April 26th at the Knitting Factory. If you're a fan of good vibes, good energy, and simply just good music, this is a show you won't want to miss! Get your tickets now!
