13 O’CLOCK BLUES BAND is based out of Boston, MA. Drawing on the tradition of the greatest bands coming out of Boston such as Aerosmith, James Montgomery, and J. Geils Band, 13 O’Clock Blues Band kicks it up a notch with a hard driving sound provided by an all-star cast of musicians. Guitarist/composer JON CATLER hails from Cohasset and played throughout the East Coast performing with the Catler Bros. Band before touring the world with the legendary La Monte Young. Vocalist BABE BORDEN comes out of Sterling, MA and fronts the band with the range and dynamism of a female Steven Tyler. Bassist TIMO SHANKO, a front man himself with Boston favorites Dub Apocalypse, adds his incredible style and presence, while on drums is Boston legend SKIP FISCHER, who has played in the James Montgomery Band as well as so many other great groups, and anchors the band with his powerful and infectious beats.
13 O’CLOCK BLUES BAND slams into the blues with a psychedelic edge and a new vision of the future of Rock. The live shows hypnotize the audience, leaving them dazed and confused with the power and chemistry and sense of discovery that is the hallmark of the most memorable classic rock bands.
The band’s debut recording DEVIL’S DANCE (scheduled for release on 1/1/18) features a combination of original songs as well as rearrangements of some classics ranging from Howling Wolf to Led Zeppelin all experienced through the prism of 528 hertz Harmonic tuning. For the first time, there is a global awareness of a specific frequency. 528 hertz has been found to be the vibrating frequency at the heart of chlorophyll and hemoglobin, and is now being used to heal DNA. Devil’s Dance is the first rock-blues CD to be entirely performed and recorded in the cosmic C 528 hertz frequency. The band takes this concept one step further by combining it with pure Harmonic Series pitches, the notes-between-the-notes. This connection between the ancient sacred frequencies and cutting edge blues is being pioneered on this important release by 13 O’Clock Blues Band.
