We are pleased to welcome back somber Scottish trio THE TWILIGHT SAD, supporting their newest effort, No One Can Ever Know out via Fat Cat.  A pensive 42-minute collection steeped in relative scarcity and propped up by sounds pulled from industrial, kraut and avant-pop experiments, the effort fulfills The Reader’s assertion that “Scottish people have a particularly deep relationship with moping that permeates many of their cultural products, most notably in their rock music.” They hit the Bottle this time around on a tour supporting a release of remixes to this past year's record. The album features reworkings by established acts such as LIARS, TOM FURSE of THE HORRORS and COM TRUISE, as well as cuts from up-and-comers WARSNARE and AMBASSADEURS.  ERRORS is a 4 piece band from Glasgow, Scotland who quickly made a name for themselves in their hometown with their unique take on dance music. Their brand new 8-track-recorded mini-album New Relics, out on Rock Action, is a delightful bit of frazzled electronic pop music that's been wrung out by a mangler.  Bring your Visine and show up early for WHEN CLOUDS ATTACK’s unique blend of electronic tinkering and post-rock instrumentalism.

When Clouds Attack is Todd Baran, Chrissy Parisi, and Andy Angelos, a post-punk/synth pop trio from Chicago, Illinois. With two EPs and a recent LP behind them, When Clouds Attack is poised to bring blissful dance grooves to synth geeks far and wide. Recent collaborations with VJ Michael Una have led to live performances that attack all of the senses.

Their Young Blood LP (2012) marked a shift from the band’s post-rock
beginnings to full-on synth pop territory, with comparisons drawn to Air, New Order, and The Human League. The theme of youth is explored throughout the album in various contexts, from the cursory plight of adulthood to the uprisings of the Arab Spring. The compositions juxtapose sometimes somber lyrics with infectious pop melodies that would be at home on the dancefloor of 80s New Wave night.

Young Blood has enjoyed continued airplay on CHIRP, 93 XRT, and  numerous college stations throughout the city and has garnered positive reviews from Richards Milne (Local Anaesthetic), Illinois Entertainer, Timeout Chicago, and other various music blogs.
