Heather currently in the process of recording her debut solo EP “Rollin in Roses” down in Nashville, TN. With much excitement about the upcoming album, Heather Heather fans are raving about the few originals that were newly played acoustically throughout the tri-state area. With Heather’s vocal range and style, this album proves to be a master piece of originality, style, emotions, and catchy songs that everyone will be singing for years.
The development of her unique vocal style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Heather was always surrounded by different forms of music. Heather's grandmother taught her how to sing and made her do vocal warm ups every day as a child. Her Uncle Jeff was her biggest influence who played every instrument and always encouraged and helped her along the musical journey. He got Heather listening to the classics and different genres of music from a young age which influenced her vocal development.
Heather graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in acting/directing and a minor in vocal performance. She performed in many professional theatrical productions. After graduation, her music career changed and she was hired as the lead singer of the cover band Seven. Once Heather hit the stage and was free to perform as she wished, she never went back to theatre again.
While in the band Seven, Heather had many other opportunities. She sang for weddings, charities, and private parties. She performed with the Elvis Tribute Band (played at the BB King Theater in New York City), and the original band Fairhill Drive (Head Liner at World Café Live in Philadelphia). Heather has opened up for John Waite, Sam & Ruby (2013 Grammy Performer with Jack white), country artist Lyndsey Highlander, Sophie B. Hawkins, the legendary Eddie Money, John Eddie and Country Legend Tanya Tucker.
After five years of playing in a cover band. Heather had the urge to do more with her music. Heather and her Uncle Jeff both decided to part ways with the Seven band and created Heather Heather. Jeff Zambino and Heather started writing original tunes and learning new covers and well the rest is history.
Heather’s gig schedule is increasing and she is finding herself in more demand throughout the country, in venues in Europe and Canada. GasHouseRadio.com plays live and recorded songs from their previous acoustic EP "Mirror of Broken Hearts". Heather has been interviewed multiple times in the LevittownNow.com news website. Heather was invited to the 2014 GRAMMYs in LA. Currently, Heather and Uncle Jeff were interviewed by The Philadelphia and Modern Arts Show and Out on the Town Magazine. The Heather Heather Duo is getting prepared to finish their new record down in Nashville in Nov, 2015. The name Heather Heather is getting bigger and bigger and fans are becoming more and more eager for their first chance to listen to the completed EP.
