EARTHLY is the North Carolina duo of Brint and Edaan, coming together to create joyful and heady electronic dance music that veers towards the dance floor without ever stepping into "club banger" zone. Their debut LP, Days, was released in July 2015, and Pitchfork said of the album: “the music plays like an anthem for indoor kids who discovered their kindred spirits at noise shows and dance parties.” They join us tonight with a new album in tow, Heart, released this October on their own Bounce Pass label. Heart's first few singles showcase EARTHLY's innate ability to overlap left-field dance music with experimental electronicism, and has received praise from the likes of FADER, Resident Advisor, and BBC Radio 6.
Memphis born-and-bred DOMESTIK started making sound collages in 2008 using tape recorders and chopped samples from previous punk bands. Nearly ten years later, they still use the same scrappy no-fuss ethos to merge electronic new age introspection with club-banger techno tracks.
