Do It For Your Heroes is a Rockabilly and Folk-Fusion act that emotes a barrage of feelings through their rootsy Americana tunes.
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Eddy Crash started the project by writing about his experiences as a frequently homeless youth, earning his nickname from his tendency to spend the night or "Crash" wherever he could find a safe place to rest his head as he traveled around the northeast for almost a year straight. Eventually, he would settle down in New Haven where he began writing material at a feverish pace and grabbed up shows at any bar or venue that would take him in.
Over time, the project grew. Lead Guitarist Connor Hart, Bassist Ameya Lee Calvocoressi, and Drummer Kenneth Maraczi would eventually join and turn the simple acoustic folk act into a dynamic, energetic, and even humorous four-piece that isn't afraid to turn a subtle, evocative display of tender emotion into an absolute 1950's Rock n Roll and Punk-inspired frenzy with very little warning.
