Additional Information

Playing lo-fi pop that channels the specter of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, OMNI brings you back to an era where any sane person was reeling from the unfulfilled promise of the Space Age and Age of Aquarius bleeding into the looming threat of Morning in America. OMNI distills the buzz and grit that snakes through the best of TELEVISION, DEVO, and PYLON into surprisingly danceable, hook-laden slabs of raw, angular, sonic bliss. OMNI signed a two-record deal with Trouble in Mind with the fantastic debut LP, Deluxe, came out last June, two months before they packed the Bottle for their first time. Not to be missed!

Come catch our pals CLEARANCE, hitting our stage fresh off of tour! We're always happy to have their unique take on throwback, indie-rock with a lo-fi vibe on the EB stage. The group released its debut LP Rapid Rewards in September 2015 via Tall Pat Records and Unsatisfied Records. Are You Aware -- another 7" released on Tall Pat -- followed in 2016. Taking equal cues from the Flying Nun school of arty guitar pop, classic British post-punk and otherwise VELVETS-indebted rock, the band mixes eras and styles with ease, resulting in a tightly focused but coolly off-the-cuff sound that appeals to rock nerds of all stripes and sizes.

All the way from Pilsen is MELKBELLY, a refreshingly loud, thrashy & crunchy take on noise-rock. The Melkers have been one of the hottest names in town since releasing their album Pennsylvania in 2014, via Automatic Recordings, and are definitely a staff favorite around these parts. They always turn that shit up to 11 whenever they hit the stage and we can't wait to see how they kick this shitstorm into high gear tonight.
