On Thurs, March 24th at 8:30p, award-winning actor and singer, RICHARD SHELTON will mark the Los Angeles release of his newest album, 'AN ENGLISHMAN IN LOVE IN LA' with a live performance at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, CA.
Influenced by new jazz, swing and Frank Sinatra's classic works, Shelton will take the audience on a "nostalgic yet innovative" musical journey through his album's 13 tracks which include beautiful fresh arrangements of classics including "Young at Heart", "Pure Imagination", a sensual ballad version of "It's Not Unusual” made famous by Tom Jones, "And I Love Her" by Lennon/McCartney and the original swing title track ‘An Englishman in Love in LA’, which celebrates life’s new beginnings, in the style of ‘Come Fly With Me’.
Richard recently won 'Best Actor in a Leading Role’ for his portrayal of Frank Sinatra in the drama ‘Rat Pack Confidential’. Inspired by his win, Richard will also take a look ‘behind the blue eyes’ of Sinatra, evoking the spirit and charisma of one of the world's most beloved entertainers.
With special guest BMG artist & songwriter CARLY ROBYN GREEN! Ms. Green has written & recorded over 100+ songs for Film & TV; having been called "the female Michael Buble" by AOL Music News.
