Topaz got his start playing sax on the streets of downtown Austin. The Texas blues and soul that he soaked up as a child remain a constant in his playing. After stints in DC and Manhattan, Topaz has returned to Austin where he's delving into his hill country toots by bringing blues signing and harmonica into the mix of high entergy dance grooves.
