21 years and over
Join The Resistance Party on this inauguration day (January 20th) and we're teaming up with some prime Chicago artists to dance against hate and party like it's 2008 (when President Obama was inaugrated). The evening's party will feature THE BABY MONEY, THE CELL PHONES, NATALIE GRACE ALFORD & DJ BOBBY E from CHIRP.
BABY MONEY is the brainchild of Chicago based songwriter Pamela Maurer. What started as a solo project has evolved into a 3-piece band based in the Windy City. Her original songs, ranging from gritty, sparse arrangements, to soulful, roof-shaking foot-stompers, are inspired by garage rockers and girl-groups of the1960s and 1970s, soul, gospel, and traditional rhythm ‘n’ blues. Returning to our stage for the first time in over a year is Chicago band THE CELL PHONES. Some time ago, Loud Loop Press called them "a band to watch" and praised that “some bands just plant a smile on your face so big, it needs to be slapped off. THE CELL PHONES are that band.” Indeed, they are! Brimming with abrasive, bass-heavy punk and bitch’ll cut you attitude, we’re excited to have them return to the Bottle stage and we're things will have only gotten nastier. NATALIE GRACE ALFORD is a singer and songwriter based out of Chicago, IL. She uses the loop pedal as a way to make the song on stage, using her voice, buckets, keyboards, even tin cans. Her powerful voice and wide range makes her catchy tunes all the more enjoyable in an age where live auto tune seems to be all the rage.
