Swimming to our stage in some heavy waters are AMERICAN SHARKS, fresh out of the great city of Austin, TX. Dubbed a "crossover" band by many, the trio incorporate abrasive stoner metal with loud, fuzzed-out power rock and are exactly what you need to bang, lumpy that big head of yours to. Solid riffs, intense percussive framework, and a drug-fueled punk mania put these guys in their own form of an infectious holy land. Heavier than a semi and just as full-throttled, the group won’t assault that attention span of yours, playing fast paced tracks that border on just the right amount while at the same time leaving you wanting more. Joining them on their North American tour is fellow Austin-based labelmates HUNDRED VISIONS -- a trio who are just as blood shoveling-ly deranged as tonight's headliner. The group’s viciously gripping garage punk stands on its own, and features some jagged edged post-punk with a healthy dose of power pop. Landing a spot in last springr’s Levitation Fest as well as SXSW, these guys are making some kinda noise. Don’t miss the power combo that is these two Austin-based face-melters. Chicago punk heroes HEAVY TIMES kick things off with tunes from their first two LPs on HoZac, plus a slew of killer singles on various labels. Never timid or vague in their desire to burn our brains and spin our heads with their angry punk anthems played at break neck speeds, HEAVY TIMES specialize in melodious ass-kicking and cavernous skuzzy pop.
