SEATTLE WEEKLY writes: "Eclectic' doesn't even begin to cover the self-titled debut from THE RAMBLIN' YEARS. Before the nine-track album is finished, the local quintet bounces from country-tinged rock to folk to hip-hop and back. Album opener 'Hold on to You" seems like a straightforward country tune until Daniel Dunn comes through with a jazz club-worthy saxophone solo."

The Ramblin' Years 2014 self-titled debut record celebrated the diversity of their musical interests and the honesty of low-budget home recording, with songs like "Hold onto You" and "Milk & Honey" proving their ability to craft catchy narratives, and "Stone by Stone" breaking genre barriers to feature their saxophonist rapping a verse about Folsom Prison. The Ramblin' Years new 2015 EP "Nickels and Dimes" exemplifies a young band growing into their boots, honing in on a unique brand of country-fried rock n' roll, and taking full advantage of the support of professional recording resources, such as the talents of engineer and co-producer Jason Lackie at Fastback Studios, pedal steeler and legendary mastering artist Ed Brooks, and accomplished keyboardist Bill Nordwall. This EP's single "Come on Carla" is sure to get audiences out on the dance floor, with choir-sized harmonies and boom-chucka rhythm: all just a taste of what is to come from this indomitable quintet.
