Talented musicians, great songs and dynamic shows deem this group equipped to deliver a good time for all. With Scraps of Brass, brass is back ... and with a vengeance! www.scrapsofbrass.com
Is an eclectic collection of influences: Nan Mosinski's folk-rock, singer-songwriter style, when combined with bassist Jeff Ashcraft's classical training and goth-metal tastes, Paul Bata's solid, polished, and intricate rhythms, guitarist and backing vocalist John Bouris’ complex, progressive rock leanings, guitarist Jeff Howatt’s expressive classic rock & blues riffs, you get a sound that is uniquely its own and can only be described as....Luna Blu Their self-titled EP was produced at Transient Sound Studio in Chicago under the skillful engineering of former Filter drummer Steven Gillis. Also lending their talents to the EP are Vijay Tellis-Nayak on keys and the incomparable Anne Harris on violin.
Hannah Frank Group
Hannah Frank Group blends the folk past with rock future. Their Americana-based music is delivered with a deep level of consciousness musically and poetically. Inspired by wordsmiths, Hannah is a storyteller with surreal imagery. Influences include guitar slingers like Bob Dylan but also Son House and Charlie Hunter. Graced by top-notch musicians: Victor Sanders (Master of Mystery Guitar) adds ambient tones and fingerstyle work, Ben E. Miller (bass) and the accomplished Meg Thomas (percussion). Meg brings rock, folk, jazz and Latin grooves to the the table. Here, she presides over a set-up as tight as it is original. The group is celebrating their LIVE EP Release.
