Tim Easton plus The Spring Standards
/ Goodmorning Valentine

Beachland Tavern, Cleveland, OH
Ohioan Tim Easton returns to the Beachland not just in support of his extensive discography, but because this is what Easton does -- tours. His live shows have been either filled with stompin’ rockers right out of Dylan’s early electric phase, or hushed acoustic affairs. The latter is what fills Easton’s most recent album, Since 1966, about which American Songwriter writes, “The stripped-bare, voice-and-acoustic guitar arrangements on the album speak directly to Easton’s strengths: an affinity for early Dylan, a dusty campfire songwriting aesthetic, and adept rhythmic cross-picking.” Boy, we could sure go for a dusty campfire on Waterloo, just to keep the damp cold at bay. NYC folk trio The Spring Standards are our additional guests, along with Joey Beltram and his acoustic rock project, Goodmorning Valentine. Joey’s recently done a series of one-man tours on the back of a motorcycle; we’re sure he’ll have plenty of stories to tell and songs to share about that experience.
