According to Country singer DJ Miller, an artist’s ability to entertain a crowd is the single most important part of today’s Country music experience. Being able to deliver an unforgettable stage show for your fans is often what separates the stars from the superstars. That’s just one of the reasons why audiences shouldn’t be surprised to find the enthusiastic young singer from Idaville, Indiana, racing through the crowd during one of his sets, or hanging out on the lawn with a group of fans in the middle of a show. He’s even been known to get down on one knee and dedicate a touching love song face-to-face to one of his many female fans. At only 22 years old, there’s certainly one thing that DJ Miller learned early on in his career, and that something is how to entertain!
DJ’s last single, “Between Sundays” rose to #20 on the Music Row chart, #32 on BDS Indicator chart and #57 on the Billboard chart. He was included in the Top 5 breakout artists of the year and was #2 in the Independent Artist of the Year Award in Music Row Magazine’s annul Country Breakout Awards. He was the cover story of the March issue of Powersource Magazine and was featured in the “debut spotlight” in the March issue of CMA Closeup Magazine.
He has been on an extensive radio tour for the last year and a half, visiting 48 states and 250+ radio stations across the country. The video for “Between Sundays”, directed by Eric Welch (Heidi Newfield, Chris LeDoux, etc.), debuted at #6 on CMT Pure’s Top 12 Countdown in late 2011. “Between Sundays” scored the #1 spot on the PowerSource Inspirational Country Music Chart for the month of December. “Between Sundays” also won Yallwire’s Best New Artist video at their 2011 Inaugural Video Music Awards.
