Many Jazz Standard patrons will remember Donald Harrison with pleasure from his past appearances on our stage with a various bands. Quantum Leap looks to be one of his best, as the New Orleans–born–and–bred altoist joins forces with another major Crescent City talent, singer/pianist Davell Crawford. “Donald Harrison is a versatile jazz musician with a sense of history and the knowledge of how he can best explore it while advancing his own, very personal, musical vision.
