Darcy Oake is a walking bag of charisma. Equipped with an infectious smile and inviting personality Darcy continues to perform world wide. He began a serious interest in magic at the age of 10 after a trip to the local magic store. Now years later Darcy has been coined as one of Canada’s premier magicians.
At age 16 Darcy was deemed an international magic champion by the Pacific Coast association of magicians.At age 18 Darcy was headlining the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood California. And at age 20 Darcy had completed a national tour of Canada performing 77 shows in 27 cities over 6 weeks!
Darcy’s show is highly acclaimed and has been honoured with some of the industries top awards. His magic has been featured in national television commercials as well as seen by millions on several international networks.
Darcy holds the distinction of being the youngest person in history to win the Pacific Rim Professional Stage Challenge. Held in Seattle, Washington, Darcy was voted winner of the coveted people’s choice award, topping a field of professional magicians!
With the ability to connect with a wide range of people Darcy’s show remains in constant demand. His unique approach and knack for creating custom themed shows has earned him a reputation second to none.
TIMES SCARE is also home to The Crypy Cade and two fully-stocked themed bars- “Kill Bar” and the “Parlour of the Paranormal” for guests to enjoy a meal or specialty cocktail while waiting for the show to begin. For those wanting to catch their breath between the terrifying haunted house and show, a lounge area on the main floor will offer a comfortable refuge.
