Tonight’s show with BITCH MAGNET is a reunion for the ages and we couldn’t be happier that it’s happening on our fair stage. BITCH MAGNET quietly split up at the end of 1990, but their previous five years were about as loud as they come, and the three went onto play in some of our favorite bands like SEAM and DON CABALLERO. Hailed for being a major influence on early 90s “post-rock”– a term that still baffles the trio to this day – the band established themselves among the top tier of American independent bands and their albums Umber (1989) and Ben Hur (1990) are now considered two of the most underrated records of the era. Their aggressive, complex and loud-as-hell sound was touted during their early tours, and this reunion has been receiving rave reviews. The videos from their shows in New York and Seattle look and sound amazing, so don’t miss your final chance to catch these underground legends in what is confirmed to be their last show ever.
