Nashville recording artist Corey Cox is a rising star in the country music scene. His songs and performances have both received critical acclaim from industry professionals and music fans throughout the nation. At 23 years-old, Cox still resides in Indiana, but his live, energetic performances from Minneapolis to Key West, and from New England to Oklahoma, have garnered high praise from appreciative fans at prestigious music venues, fairs and festivals. Cox recently released his sophomore album, a five-song EP that encompasses his passions for real life, small towns and country music.Produced by award-winning music veteran Rob Rappaport, the latest EP is a follow up to Cox’s self-titled album released in 2009. Cox, Jay Brunswick and Ward Davis wrote the first release from the new EP, “That’ll Take You Back”. The additional four tracks on the EP “Wishful Thinking,” “Road Signs,” When the Lights Go Out,” and “Running Away” were all either entirely penned or co-written by Cox.
