DEAD TOWN REVIVAL (Sinister Muse records)
Hailing from the working-class streets of the south side of Chicago, Dead Town Revival is a self-described "punk-n-roll" band. Inspired by angst, guns, and rock and roll, Dead Town Revival's driving melodic music speaks of love lost, hard luck and a complete disdain for authority.
Having met on the set of the Die Warzau melodrama "Supergangbang", Dan Evans and Chris 'Xmas' Smits found such glaring similarities not only in the amount of hatred they shared, but how similar the people, objects, places, and ideas they hated were, that they just couldn't let all that perfectly good hate go to waste. Believing that most things worthwhile have those qualities in their beginnings, the two are trying to make your ears feel as pissed off as they are. Don't act all above it...your ears probably deserve it.
