Michael McDonald was born and raised in Orange Country, California. He graduated from USC with a degree in business, but went into comedy instead. After getting his start at the Groundling Theater in Los Angeles, Michael booked small parts in film and television, and eventually was hired to work on Mad TV, where he spent ten years as a cast member. He currently divides his time between writing, directing, and acting on various film and television projects, as well as performing live on stage across the country.
