ASUN (aka Suntonio Bandanaz) is Core MC and spearhead of Seattle super crew, Alpha P. (1st Platoon). Having put in years of footwork and face time, hustling Cassettes/CDs, dominating freestyle cyphers, winning battles internationally, and rocking audiences of all sizes, he is an unquestioned legend in Northwest Hip Hop. Respected globally, ASUN has shared stage with Kings of the craft such as: Afrika Bambaataa, Dead Prez, Abstract Rude, Percee P., Sage Francis and The Jacka. As artist and educator he has spearheaded work with Universal Zulu Nation (206) and Hip Hop Congress. His vault contains hundreds of tracks released independently in the US and overseas. Look for upcoming multiple projects dropping in the near future.
Afitting name for the young rising local artist who has already been recognized by local newspapers and radio plays. SHORTE has opened up shows for numerous mainstream acts such as Bone Thugs n Harmoney, Krizz Kaliko, & Lil Flip just to name a few. He was also the only nomiated Hip Hop act to perform at the Vans WARPED TOUR 2011 (Seattle) on the Ernieball Stage. SHORTE credits his love for writing lyrics and making feel good music for people of all demographics; to his humble beginnings. You could say that grinding so long has made SHORTE into a sharp independent artist and businessman with goals of building a successful empire as a singer, songwriter, MC, producer and performer. Roksta is a mixed Caucasian / African American rapper/singer from the Northwest. He began his mission at a very young age by listening to different forms of music that peaked his interest. He was regularly asked " What music is new and hot right now ?" Reason being is they knew that he had a good sense and taste in music, which he more than likely inherited from his father, Sheldon Miller, once a drummer for the well-known piece of history – the band Parliament-Funkadelic (The 70's thang).
Roksta soon realized his passion for music and began creating his own. Though there were a lot of skeptics around him, he just ignored their daunting remarks and focused on one thing and one thing only - The MUSIC! "If you make good enough music (says Roksta) they will listen and that’s all that’s important, you can forget the rest."
