Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Keller Williams returns to the Beachland tonight, where he’ll play two full sets of his original music in front of what’s sure to be a sell-out crowd. This Virginia native grew up influenced by the Grateful Dead, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and Michael Hedges. Therefore, it’s no surprise that his music is a personal mix of the quirky, funky, and virtuosic. Keller’s unique musical vision is truly that of one man. Keller almost always plays solo, equipped with his acoustic guitar and an array of effects pedals that enable him to loop guitar rhythms and melodies, essentially making him a one-man band. But it’s his work with friends like String Cheese Incident and other similar bands that have brought Williams to national prominence.
