We’re excited to host the TRASH_AUDIO SYNTH EVENT 12, featuring a Synth Market with manufacturers during the day where they will be offering their wares at special prices.  Vendors from 4MS, GEAR-TRACK, THE HARVESTMAN, MAKE NOISE, STG SOUNDLABS, TIP TOP AUDIO and TOPOBRILLO will have pretty much any toy, gadget and noise maker your little, nob-by heart desires.

After the gear-centric market in the afternoon, we’ll be hosting modular synthesizer performances ranging from melodic to chaotic that will test the limits of our sound system.  Perhaps best known for touring and recording with NIN, Italian musician ALESSANDRO CORTINI is also the front man for LA-based electronic-alternative outfit SONOIO.  With 22 releases featuring his work – from his more mainstream output with NIN and LADYTRON to his inventive solo recordings – CORTINI continues to be at the forefront of synth manipulations.  During the past three years, RICHARD DEVINE has remixed artists like APHEX TWIN, designed sounds for virtual instrument deity NATIVE INSTRUMENTS, scored commercials and engineered and performed his own ear-tearing music mayhem.  Long-simmering and otherworldly, ROBERT AA LOWE'S multi-formatted LICHENS project is captivating and expansive and each live show is a spectacular unique and individual event that never attempts to duplicate any previous performance.  KEITH FULLERTON WHITMAN opens tonight with his work implementing a complete system for live performance of improvised electronic music, incorporating elements from nearly every era.
