THE FENCEMEN (members of Small Brown Bike, Ettison Clio, and Biddy/Biddy/Biddy)
The Fencemen are getting older. You are getting older with us. The falcon-headed women still congregate on the city streets and the wolves still amble out upon lawns, only it happens more slowly, more deliberately these days. This is the way of all things, friend. We are getting older, but still have a soft spot for the reckless. So do you. The Fencemen are a musical four-piece outfit who take their tea in Lansing, Michigan. Currently and formerly playing in such projects as Small Brown Bike, Ettison Clio, Biddy/Biddy/Biddy, we presently play guitars and drums with the accompaniments of bass, organ, and multiple voices. We enjoy fireplaces, age, Mediterranean food, the rustic melancholy of birdcalls, stomping our feet and clapping our hands, cookouts, and the works of John Cheever. We are measuring your life in knives. We are humming with the jackals. So, when out running rampant in the streets and freeing your heart, stop by and see us sometime—we will be playing some songs. Cheers.
Driven by fuzzy, distorted guitars and masterful three-part harmonies, "Hazy Orange Sunday" harkens back to the early 90’s, when grungy rock and roll ruled the airwaves.
Three-piece Chicago punk band. Please, watch what you say around these guys, for fans of hot snakes, abba, les savy fav, detachment kit, shellac and Katy Perry.
