Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, for a dare-devilish and dutifully demented demonstration! The Squidling Brothers Circus Sideshow and International Freakshow of sword swallowers, daredevils, and comic clowns will take you on a wild ride. You'll feel desirably defiled and delightfully delirious as these dedicated demonic deviants deftly deliver their dexterous deeds. But have no delusions! Deceit and deception play no part in this show! Everything you see is definitely 100% devoid of dishonesty! All real! All live! This is a night of thrills, chills, and laughs that will stay with you the rest of your life!
The Squidling Brothers Circus Sideshow is assured to shock and amaze you! Led by host Jelly Boy the Clown, the living cartoon and natural born weirdo, and accompanied by his brother Matterz Squidling the Impenetrable Music Man and sideshow sensation Betty Bloomerz, there is never a dull moment. Enjoy the punk old-time sytlings of Maray Squeezebox on the accordion and the strange and comical Tommy Toons, as well as broken glass manipulation, fine arts, dangerous stunts on beds of nails and ladders of machetes, and comical routines that defy possibility with nails and tubes up the nose, tennis rackets, needles, and sharp objects.
For over five years, The Squidlings have produced and participated in hundreds of shows through out the continental United States and the European Union, as well as Norway, Sweden, and Croatia. They have performed with Primus, Exploited, Prodigy, The National, Circus Contraption, Rev Horton Heat, Mudvayne, Suicide Silence, and Merle Haggard. They've also appeared in the Ink-N-Iron Festival, the Bohemian Carnival with the Vau De Vire Society, the Sweden Metaltown 2009 in Gotenburg, The Coney Island Rockabilly Festival, The Theatre Bizarre in Detroit, MI, The World Steam Punk Expo in Detroit, the Pedal to the Metal tour in Sweden, and Opatijske Barufe 2011 in Croatia.
In 2004 The Squidlings created the now highly successful underground party Carnivolution, a monthly DIY circus show full of puppets, costumes, and guest sideshow and circus performers. During the summers of 2009 and 2010, The Squidlings also produced a weekly summer variety sideshow and burlesque night on Coney Island. The show took place every Saturday on the boardwalk at Cha Cha's, the home of wise guys and wild women. You will find individual performers from tonight's show on the stage at Coney Island U.S.A. Sideshow by the Seashore and Ripley's Believe it or Not in Times Square.
