Katie Armiger has become one of the biggest and brightest independent female country artists today. Releasing her first album when she was just 15 years old, Katie has arguably accomplished more during her five years as a recording artist than most people twice her age. The dream of making it on Music Row seemed fated for the Texas native with the soaring voice and radiant personality, reminiscent of Martina McBride, Shania Twain and Sara Evans. It’s no surprise that she is a young star on the rise with major accolades including performing at the Grand Ole Opry, gracing the cover of national teen publication Justine Magazine, performing twice on the CBS Early Show, landing five straight music videos on the fan-voted GAC Top 20 Countdown, setting records on Music Row, having over 30 high school’s across the country use her self-penned moving ballad “Leaving Home” as their 2010 graduation song, voted by Country Weekly readers #2 on the ‘Country’s Most Beautiful Women’ list and the #1 Hottest Bachelorette in 2011, and touring the country with opening slots for some of country music’s biggest names including Darius Rucker, Brad Paisley, Ronnie Dunn, Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean.
