Additional Information

Empty Bottle Presents is pleased to announce a new, utterly unique live experience incorporating art, speakers, live music and left field dance partying.

EBP and AdHoc.fm join forces to present ‘Banter’ a series running the final Friday of every month from April through October at Public Works (1539 N Damen Ave). ‘Banter’ aims to explore the sonic contributions from fine people in and around the experimental electronic and acoustic scenes while providing a forum to discuss esoteric subjects and then dance all that knowledge out in a room full of pretty pictures. For these 3-tiered explosions of culture, doors open at 8pm for the gallery reception and brief discussions/presentations on topics as varied as the basics of String Theory to understanding how to build Circuit Bent instruments to Magic The Gathering. Live performances begin at 10pm and after all of that good behavior, the party continues into the morning hours with DJ sets from local and nationally recognized talent.
