21 years and over
At this years’ Coachella, BADBADNOTGOOD appeared as the band-in-residence, playing six different sets, and backing FRANK OCEAN both weekends. Their rare blend of jazz and hip-hop has blown up into YouTube basement jam sessions with ODD FUTURE, TYLER THE CREATOR (upwards of half a million YouTube views and counting) and EARL SWEATSHIRT. The super young trio have earned praise from places as diverse as the Huffington Post – “BBNG specializes in getting ratchet as all hell” – to Sputnik Music – “a welcome reinterpretation of modern jazz without the pretense of snotty wine parties and thick-rimmed hipster dinosaurs” and TYLER, THE CREATOR has called them “the coolest thing ever.” We think the world will be hearing a lot more from these three in the future and can’t wait to have them on our stage. Widely referred to as one of the best improvisational groups in Chicago, EL IS THE SOUND OF JOY returns with a debut, improvised album under their belts, Beta Music for Beta People released by Moss Tapes – in their words “solar jungle space salvation sure to take you to your alter-destiny. DJ GREG D aka ‘THE CHEF’ of Owl Service Recordings, Recloose and Resident Alien Productions fame DJs throughout. We recommend that you come to get down…and jump around.
