The original Mingus legacy band is back at Jazz Standard! Formed shortly after namesake Charles Mingus’ death in 1979 and named for his classic 1959 album Mingus Dynasty, the group’s alumni role includes such illustrious names as Randy Brecker, Jon Faddis, Joe Farrell, Jaki Byard, Kenny Washington, and Charlie Haden.

All seating is on a first come, first seated basis. Ticket purchase guarantees you admission to the show. Serving award winning Blue Smoke Barbecue.
