If you’ve wanted more “good cause” in your rock, have we got a show for you.  A fundraising event for the health and life of a cute little pooch named Picasso is presents by Audiotree and Northwoods Revolution tonight featuring some of the swellest bands Chicago has to offer.  MUTTS – get it?  Woof! - the outfit named on Heavy Planets "Best New Band to Burn One To," returns, and while that would be pretty rad on its own, it's even more rad when you consider how heavy MUTTS can be without a guitar in sight. On their most recent EP, The Tells of Parallels, every instrument is mic'ed up to 11 and the dirty, mud-soaked key tone drives the melodies, propelling them into huge rock moments. HEMMINGBIRDS deliver a unique combination of indie rock and folk-tinged tunes, expertly on display on their newest effort Death Wave, mellow lo-fi popsters KELLEN & ME bring their charming bedroom tracks to life and Chicago orch-pop octet PANORAMIC & TRUE open the show.  An exciting night of some of the best new pop music the city has to offer and all for a fantastic cause.
