Day Out With Thomas™ offers an opportunity for children and their families to take a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine™ and to meet Sir Topham Hatt™, the Controller of the Railway. Every event has a Thomas & Friends Imagination Station with Thomas-themed activities including stamps, temporary tattoos, hands-on arts and crafts, and a Thomas storytelling and video viewing area. The activities on site at Day Out With Thomas™ are for you and your children to enjoy for several hours, please plan to arrive at least one hour before your train time.

ADA/Wheelchair patrons, the train is handicap/wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair lift. Please call the SAM Shortline Railroad at 1-877-GA-RAILS to arrange for wheelchair lift use.

Parking for Day Out With Thomas will be at a designated area inside the Georgia Veterans State Park. Shuttles will be provided to the event site for attendees. There is a requested donation of $5 per car for parking.
