21 years and over
Discovered by JACK WHITE and brought to Third Man Studios for their first recordings, THE BLACK BELLES take their melancholic penchant for black and capture a modern twist on a sound heavily rooted in the soul and garage rock of the 60s on their debut, self-titled LP, produced by WHITE. A creepy collection of power chord-based riffs, warbley witches’ vocals floating on top farfisa fueled under-toe surf pop, we were nothing short of gobsmacked by their unwavering commitment to the style of their performance when they graced our stage earlier this year. Called by ChicagoGarageRock "the best live band in Chicago," on their debut recorded effort, the Neat Repeater EP, MICHAEL LUX & THE BAD SONS have proven to be undeniably bad ass both on record and live and we're jazzed to welcome them back and excited to hear tracks from their upcoming debut LP.
