SWAN KING, a Chicago heavy rock collective featuring former members of ASSCHAPEL and PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS whose debut LP Eyes Like Knives, recorded by SANFORD PARKER and out earlier this year via Seventh Rule, has been likened to "THE WIPERS if they were on AmRep."    The trio was on the road for much of April and we’re pleased to welcome them back to Chicago.  Joining the party is punishing trio ELECTRIC HAWK.  Quickly becoming one of our favorite local acts, these guys prove you don't need a lot of people on stage to create a sonic apocalypse or a singer to make your tunes as catchy as the plague.  THE MIDWESTERN kick off tonight’s local night of ass kickery – inactive for quite some time we’re pleased to welcome this duo back to the fold.
