Johnny Rodgers Band is currently in the studio recording their next album, Legends of American Music, Vol. 1. Their released albums include Box of Photographs, Bound Together and Let’s Make A Date. “The Best Of You In Me” on the Bound Together album is available in a choral arrangement from Hal Leonard Publishing. In addition to Liza Minnelli, Johnny Rodgers has also performed and/or recorded with Michael Feinstein, Randy Brecker, Tom Harrell, Stephen Schwartz, Shelly Berg, Susan Werner, Dave Koz, Clint Holmes, and Ann Hampton Callaway, among others and is featured on the recordings; The Maury Yeston Songbook, Hallways: The Songs of Carol Hall, and Jule Styne In Hollywood.

Johnny Rodgers is a singer-songwriter, pianist, Broadway star, and recording artist who is described by Stephen Holden, from THE NEW YORK TIMES, as an entertainer “that can’t be found anywhere else” with “fused elements of Billy Joel, Peter Allen and Johnny Mercer.” Liza Minnelli recognized Johnny’s talent taking him on her world tour and then as featured singer, dancer, pianist, and songwriter in the Tony Award-winning Liza’s At The Palace, which now appears on PBS television. Johnny co-wrote the featured song “I Would Never Leave You” and is included on the show’s DVD release as well as the Grammy-nominated CD.
