Known for his inimitable flow, rhythmic precision, and tendency toward the bizarre and hardcore, Tech N9ne has consistently proven himself one of the hardest working rappers in the game. Hailing original from Kansas City, MO, he began his career as an underground rapper in the mid-'90s. After releasing Anghellic on the major label JCOR Records in 2001, he began releasing albums on his own imprint Strange Music, which he founded with Travis O'Guin in 1999. His first album on the label, Absolute Power (2002), debuted at No. 79 on the Billboard 200 and enjoyed excellent sales.
The next decade saw N9ne release a string of popular albums on Strange Music and collaborate with a veritable who's who of hip-hop in the process. He broke the million sales mark with his 2008 release Killer, a tribute to Michael Jackon's Thriller (1982), and expanded his reach with Sickology 101 (2009), K.O.D. (2009), The Gates Mixed Plate (2010), and All 6's and 7's (2011) which featured B.o.B, E-40, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Mint Condition, Hopsin, Busta Rhymes, Twista, Lil Wayne, Yelawolf, Ceza, and Deftones. His latest release is Welcome to Strangeland (2011).
In 2012, Tech N9ne is raising the hip-hop bar even higher. Starting in March, he released his next EP, titled Klusterfuk (2012), and embarked on his Hostile Takeover Tour. With 90 shows in 99 days, Hostile Takeover will set the record for the longest hip-hop tour ever. Tech N9ne will be joined on the tour by none other than Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), Krizz Kaliko, Mayday, Prozak, and Stevie Stone. Prepare yourself for Armageddon, because this tour is sure to be nothing short of amazing!
