MINES is a band featuring members of TIGER HATCHERY, WYOMING and BATTLESHIP that released their debut LP, Just Another Thing That Got Ruined, in April 2013 to much acclaim from fans and critics. Their songs are bursting with cleverly buried melodies under walls of fuzzy atmospherics and MINES aren’t afraid to let the avant-pop ditties come crashing down in a mess of noisy chaos before quickly picking up the pieces to rip and thrash some more. In the words of the Chicago Reader, "Satek and company sound like a band that's touring the national festival circuit, not one that's been grinding in dank basements for the past five years." MICHAEL COLLINS, formerly of PRINCE RAMA, plays transcendent, psychedelic electronic music. Twitchy, electronic beats are covered in bellowing baritone vocals that leave listeners stunned and mesmerized. His new age, post-punk sound will transport you to a dreamland of epic proportions – just be sure to wake up, man. DAVID B. GREENBERG offers an homage to the Divine presence at the heart of the seemingly mundane. His open-hearted and welcoming shows, which often veer from serene to unhinged, allow all that are present to be uplifted, invited to look within to find the answers of the universe. JULIE BYRNE is a Chicago based artist who makes gentle, acoustic pop. Her music is as hushed and mysterious as her presence. Byrne’s gentle and soothing sound will be easing us into the night with her soft finger-picking and insightful lyricism.
