In today’s world, teens have more financial choices than ever before, but also face more potential pitfalls. Credit cards, debit cards, investments, taxes -- all can be confusing, for parents and teens. This course will review basics such as how to make a useful budget and balance a checkbook, but it will also teach financial concepts such as the differences among savings options, basic investment strategies and how to use credit wisely. It will also outline what you need to know to understand college financial aid choices. This is an online, self-paced course. begin any time between Aug 15 – Dec 15. You will have access 24 hours a day to study until 7/31/12.
