Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide
A call to arms against our era's most pervasive human rights violation: the oppression of women in the developing world. Join New York Times columnist and Pulitzer Prize winner Nicholas Kristof in an investigation of sex trafficking and reproductive rights, and hear inspirational stories of the extraordinary women struggling under dire circumstances. The seminar will include an exploration of possible solutions. This is a self-paced version of the live seminar presented on Feb. 1, 2010.
