ACTION BRONSON

Drawing his name from gangster William "Action" Jackson and tough-guy actor Charles Bronson, rapper Action Bronson hails from Flushing, Queens. He has gained notoriety lyrically and stylistically for his resemblance to Ghostface Killah, with whom he collaborated on "Meteor Hammer," a track off the Wu-Tang Clan's 2011 release Legendary Weapons. A widely respected fire-flame street gourmet chef, he also raps frequently about food.

Bronson's debut studio album, Dr. Lecter, dropped earlier this year. Like Bronson himself, the album draws its title from a cinematic character - in this case, Dr. Hannibal Lecter from the horror film Silence of the Lambs. The album is produced by Tommy Mas and is notable for featuring tracks made with breakbeat samples. Bronson's latest album, Well Done, features the rapper in collaboration with producer Statik Selektah. Released in late November, the album is already generating serious buzz in the hip-hop community.

MR. MFN EXQUIRE

Mr. MFN eXquire is a Brooklyn-based Emcee armed with a brash and rebellious personality. He has been described by influential attorney and activist Kenneth Montgomery PLLC as "a breath of fresh air" and by URB magazine as possessing "a brutal arsenal of hip hop vocals ... a force to be reckoned with." Unconventional, eccentric, and groundbreaking, eXquire is in a unique position to re-invigorate hip-hop with his ability to poke fun at tragedy, laugh at danger, and bend the boundaries of the genre imposed by stagnant gatekeepers.

Since his debut mixtape, The Big Fat Kill, eXquire has moved over 15,000 units without the support of media outlets. His latest release Lost In Translation, a scathing chronicle of the life of an anti-hero, is already raising more than a few eyebrows. Possessing the courage to ignore the industries narrow-minded conceptions of what a rapper should be, eXquire is ready to take what nobody will give him, questioning the true source of an artist's power within the music industry.
