Chicago's most unique TV variety show (CAN-TV Cable Channel 19 Thursday Nights 11:30pm to 12:30am), brings its cavalcade of intense artists alive in a touring nightclub show called The Flabby Hoffman Caravan. You can be a part of this unique enviroment as these live shows are videotaped for the TV series, bringing together some of the best bands in town rocking as hard as they can for the TV camera.
He is bright, experimental, and witty, with lyrics pertaining to current social justice issues such as the ongoing war in Iraq and different public policies around the nation. His style resembles his personal inspirations: Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Listening to Haner, I had the privilege to witness what may be the first unveiling of a strong musical voice.
B4 started in 2008 as five high school kids from the Deerfield, Illinois area, but their sound belies their age in many ways. Their music may remind the listener of roots rock, but updated with innovative rhythm changes and blazing guitar solos. Andy Burrows is the nephew of Chris "Chicago Hambone" Cameron, and skill at keyboard definitely runs in the family.
We are a hard hitting blues based American rock band, that's like nothing and everything you never/ever heard.
Union Pulse is an idiosyncratic icon at the intersection of Americana, roots rock, and alt-country. The band embodies singer-songwriter James Redding's soul bound lyrics and leg bending rhythm. An east coast transplant now living in Wisconsin, Redding releases a new record every couple of years and tours nationally with a revolving group of musicians. Over the last decade James has released four original albums and one live EP, performed nearly 700 shows throughout the lower 48 states, and collaborated with over 60 musicians. Don't miss the chance to catch the latest incarnation of Union Pulse on a stage near you!
