Hypnotic pop creators TWIN SISTER make their Empty Bottle debut, on tour supporting their Domino-released debut LP, In Heaven. Pitchfork has praised the effort for highlighting “all the right things about the band, further proving there’s more to the group than pretty bedroom pop,” and the New York Times has gone so far as to praise the Long Island-based group for going “deep, taking its time with tempos and moving harmonies…some gifted and cloistered young minds.” Dubbed “music you could feel comfortable cheating on someone to,” TWIN SISTER have earned a reputation for deftly translating the scent of seduction that hangs so heavy over their recorded efforts to their live show, slow-grooving their way through sultry, ethereal pop and utilizing front woman ANDREA ESTELLA’s lingering vocals to create musical textures as much as words, bringing the entire mood of a TWIN SISTER performance to a darker state. Fellow New Yorkers AVA LUNA join TWIN SISTER on their national tour, supporting Services: 3rd Avenue Island on Infinite Best Recordings.
