21 years and over
Born in Seattle in 1998 at the tender age of intent, UNWED SAILOR is led by Oklahoma-born songwriter JOHNATHON FORD, formerly of Seattle luminaries ROADSIDE MONUMENT. Pulling towards a bass guitar-oriented sound, the band has never fallen into the math-rock confines of FORD's past and its instrumental-rock roots meld with experimental/ambient sounds to form energetic and highly melodic songs. UNWED SAILOR's ever evolving cast and crew has been tirelessly composed over the years of good friends and company. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, HAWK AND DOVE is an indie rock band whose calm-before-the-storm sound has been described as the “loudest quiet band you have ever heard” and “the psychedelic country David Bowie never wrote.” On their 2013 album, This Yesterday Will Never End, the band mixes hauntingly beautiful ballads with thunderous stoner grooves to create a psychedelic rock sound that has never been heard before. VAADAT CHARIGIM is is an Israeli shoegaze trio based out of Tel Aviv. Last year the band released The World Is Well Lost via Warm Ratio/Burger and it's loaded with effects-drenched, noisy dream-pop. VAADAT CHARIGIM doesn't sing in English, but you can't understand most shoegaze singers are saying anyway, so just deal with it and keep nodding your head.
