Eric Paslay - Live from the Cavern Club at Hard Rock Cafe Boston
with Special Guest Jilly Martin

Texas native, Eric Paslay (Pass-Lay) started playing guitar at 15 years old. He was always surrounded by music growing up in Temple, TX (near Austin) and grew up hearing stories about his grandfather 's band - Arnold Schiller and the Moonlight Serenaders. Paslay had aspirations of being a songwriter and moved to Nashville to attend a music program at Middle Tennessee State University. During his schooling he interned with Cal IV publishing and applied for a job in their tape room after graduation. He was denied the job because the boss feared he would stop writing songs. A few months later, Cal IV signed Eric to his publishing deal.

Seven years after his move to Nashville, Paslay signed with EMI Record Nashville. During those seven years he continually worked on his songwriting and played countless gigs around town. Paslay has penned or co-penned every song on his debut album. He currently has a songwriting cut, "Friday Night," on Lady Antebellum's Own The Night, as well as, the No. one Jake Owen single "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" which he co-wrote with Dylan Altman and Terry Sawchuk.

In 2007, Jilly Martin began making trips to Nashville to record demos and background vocals. That same year, Jilly opened for Randy Travis and Gretchen Wilson, and then was asked by Randy Travis to record 3 of his originals.

In the subsequent summers Jilly expanded her list of openers to include The Band Perry, Justin Moore, Loretta Lynn, Josh Turner, Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert.
